What is a home access control system?
Designed to allow entry for authorised individuals whilst denying entry to unauthorised visitors, the most common types of access control for residential properties are audio & video door entry systems. These systems provide an ideal solution for a low-risk premises with someone available to answer a call and release the door or gate. If required, audio & video entry systems can work in conjunction with other types of access control such as digital keypad, swipe card or proximity readers. If you have an existing audio or video system Premier can modify it to incorporate these features.
Wireless audio access control systems are also available for installation where the running of cables is not practical; for instance to communicate with and operate an automatic gate at the end of a driveway.

Does Premier Alarms offer maintenance agreements for Access Control Systems?
Yes, the Premier maintenance agreement includes one or two routine maintenance visits per annum at regular intervals in which we will fully service the systems in place. This will include testing all the detection devices, the back-up batteries, as well as the live bells. Effectively we put the system into a state of alarm to ensure should it be required in a genuine activation, everything is functional.
Also included in the annual maintenance is the 24/7 support from our team of engineers. You will be given free telephone support and if you require an engineer out to the property then we guarantee to have the engineer on site within 4 hours of you logging the call. You also receive a 50% discount on the associated labour rates; i.e. labour for our contracted customers is heavily subsidised. Any parts that require replacing will be charged accordingly but are discounted as a result of the maintenance agreements, and of course as mentioned the labour taken to replace parts will also be at the subsidised rate.
